Sarah Shulbank-Smith
Sarah Shulbank-Smith (she/her) is a board-certified music therapist and licensed creative arts therapist who earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and minors in trombone performance and gender and sexuality studies from Pennsylvania State University, and a master’s degree in music therapy and counseling from Drexel University. Sarah has worked in HIV-related case management, at an inpatient psychiatric hospital as a music therapist, and is currently working in a private community-based therapy program in NYC as an Expressive Arts Clinician. Sarah also has extensive experience working with the LGBTQ+ population, a particular area of passion for her. She and her now wife moved to Jersey City last October and got married in November, and have enjoyed building a musical, active, adventurous life in a new area with their two cats, Sonny and Cher.
